Video: ‘If they send me to the moon, still I will speak out’

Amin Afravi, a refugee who came to Australia under the Medevac laws from Manus, spoke to Green Left from BITA (Brisbane Immigration Transit Accommodation).

He believes he was moved from Kangaroo Point hotel because he was organising with other refugees to protest their inhumane living conditions.

Others who came in the same boat have been allowed to live in the community, some have married and most have got on with their lives. Why is Amin, and refugees like him, still being held in detention?
