Oliver Stone's: South of the border

A political road movie that sees Oliver Stone traverse from the Caribbean down the spine of the Andes, to examine those countries that are challenging US dominance & building an alternative to capitalism. From Venezuela's Hugo Chavez to Bolivia's Evo Morales, Cuba's Raul Castro & recent coup survivor Rafael Correa of Ecuador, Stone allows a voice to governments who are almost unanimously attacked by the West.

Directed by the mysterious "Banksy", Exit Through the Gift Shop is a brilliant examination of the underground street art culture, and an intriguing look at commercialisation of art. The multi-layered film is humorous art itself, poking fun at the "trendiness" of street art, the millionaires who want to purchase it, and revealing the contradictions of the art form. Plunder: The crime of our times is a hard hitting investigative film by former CCN producer Danny Schechter, who predicted the global financial crisis in his previous film. Here the "News Dissector" explores how the financial crisis was built on the biggest white-collar crime in history.

PLUS short film Shock Doctrine, in which Naomi Klein and Alfonso Cuaron combine to reveal how capitalism has consistently been forced upon disaster shocked people.
