Public meeting: Afghanistan: the occupation must end

Afghanistan has been at war for several decades now, with a succession of invaders & puppet governments. Prominent Afghan activist, Malalai Joya, told an Australian audience in 2010 that "we want your troops to leave so that we have only one enemy to fight". That is, the war lord government led by Hamid Karzai & the Taliban. She said that the Karzai government & the Taliban's politics have converged. After 10 years of the US-led occupation of Afghanistan, tens of thousands of civilian casualties & tens of thousands of Afghan refugees, it's time for this war to end.
