A huge day of civil disobedience in Brisbane achieved its goal of disrupting business as usual to highlight the need for urgent climate action. This video includes the voices of some of those who took part.

Chants of "Free, safe, legal!" rang out in Macquarie Street on August 6 at 9am as hundreds of people gathered in front of NSW Parliament House to urge MPs to vote to decriminalise abortion today.

More than 60 peace activists gathered outside the Robertson Barracks, which houses 2500 United States Marines, to ask them to leave on August 3 .

The action, which included asking the marines to share tea and biscuits, took place during the "Australia at the Cross Roads" conference organised by the Independent and Peaceful Australia Network (IPAN).
