Forum: The movement against sexual violence in India.

International guest speaker: Kavita Krishnan, joint secretary of the All-India Progressive Women's Association, and a leading activist in the movement against sexual violence that exploded following the gang rape of a student in Dehli in 2012. The movement is demanding a woman's right to live without fear of rape and free from the patriarchal control of the family and community. Krishnan is also a central leader of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) and editor of its newspaper Liberation. 6:30pm.
