Palm Sunday has become the major date on the refugee rights movement's calendar. Last year, tens of thousands across Australia marched to demand justice for asylum seekers and refugees. There has never been a more important time to come together and make this year's rally the biggest yet!
In recent months, many groups have stood up and taken action: Doctors, nurses, teachers, students, unions, artists, grandmothers, mums, Christians, Muslims, and Jewish communities, and of course, Refugees themselves. Most of these groups are helping with planning and promoting this protest.
Malcolm Turnbull wants to ignore this impressive groundswell. He and Minister Dutton haven't budged an inch from Abbott's cruel policies of turning back boats, offshore detention on Manus and Nauru, and Temporary Protection Visas.
But the momentum for change is growing. Help us make history and join us on Palm Sunday!
