Construction Forestry Mining and Energy Union official Noel Washington appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on October 31. He is charged with refusing to be forcefully interrogated by the Australian Building and Construction Commission.

Two hundred supporters chanted "Washo here to stay" at the second hearing before the trial. Calls were made at the rally for mass stopworks and rallies when the trial starts, on a date yet to be announced. For more information visit <http://www.rightsonsite.org.au>.
