Unions march on May Day to save lives

Thousands of construction workers walked off the job and marched through Sydney on May 1.

Key issues raised by the construction union included to stop deaths on construction sites and to abolish the Australian Building and Construction Commission.

Rallies to mark May Day were also held across Australia to over the weekend of May 4–5.
