Trek for Jobs, Justice & Dignity

Kaurna Yerta/Adelaide

Why

At the end of Anti-Poverty Week, we will follow the route of the 1931 Beef March, one of the largest mobilisations of unemployed people in South Australian history.

You are invited to join us for all or part of this 15km march, during which we will stop at Job Prospects Adelaide and Coca-Cola Amatil.

We will finish with a community picnic in the city, at roughly 4pm (location TBC).

This Trek is a demonstration of the long history of struggle for those out of work and living in poverty - our victories may sometimes be temporary, but our defeat will never be final.

Hosted by Anti-Poverty Network SA.

Please confirm your attendance with a text or email.
