An 'adaption of The Trial (Kafka) by a group called K. The production is inspired by the plight of more than 50 refugees who are indefinitely detained in Australian immigration centres because ASIO has assessed them to be national security risks. They have been given no information about the reasons for ASIO's assessment and the decisions are not subject to any judicial or other independent scrutiny.' Kafka's a little heavy but it's a good cause. Run time 75 mins. $20. Money goes to the Victorian Foundation for Survivors of Torture and the Refugee Immigration and Legal Service.
