Spring Writing Festival

SYDNEY — A diversity of Australian and overseas writers will attend the 5th Annual Spring Writing Festival on September 13-14 at the Rozelle Hospital heritage gardens.

Presented by the NSW Writers Centre, the program incorporates three parallel sessions each day, covering such topics as literary frauds, erotic writing and travel writing. There will also be a range of practical sessions for emerging writers to learn more about the publishing industry.

Frank Moorhouse, Morris West, Kate Grenville, Bryce Courtenay, Yasmine Gooneratne, Nicolette Stasko, Henry Reynolds, Gabrielle Lord, Lillian Ng, Sue Woolfe and poet Les Murray will be taking part.

International writers confirmed so far include Briar Grace-Smith (New Zealand), Kiran Nagarkar (India), John Lucas (UK), Kateri Akiwenzie-Damm (Canada), Libby Houston (UK), Robert Yeo (Singapore) and Peter Wells (New Zealand). For more information contact Irina Dunn on (02) 9555 9757.
