Something extra in this issue

Issue

Inserted in this issue of Green Left Weekly is the first issue of NETNEWS, a four-page newsletter prepared by Visionary Media in support of Pegasus Networks.

Pegasus is a system of electronic communication. Subscribers — there are more than 1000 — are able to exchange private messages with any other subscriber or, through conferences, to engage in discussions with all other users of the network. Through links to similar systems in other countries, Pegasus makes possible worldwide exchange of information and ideas.

Regular readers will have noticed that many articles in Green Left are obtained from a range of groups and publications via Pegasus. Pegasus is also the means used by our correspondents in Prague to send us their stories quickly and reliably.

And it's a two-way (or many-way) street: we put many Green Left articles on Pegasus, where they can be read and relayed around the world.

To become a Pegasus subscriber you need only a computer, a telephone and a modem (Pegasus sells modems at competitive prices). For more information, contact Pegasus at the address or phone number given in NETNEWS.
