Supporters of West Papua's struggle for self-determination took part in a Morning Star flag-raising ceremony at Leichhardt Town Hall organised by the Australia West Papua Association.

Every December 1, West Papuan people brave brutal repression by the Indonesian occupation forces to raise their national flag on their own land.

So, all around the world on that day, the Morning Star flag is raised in solidarity.
