Newtown Residents Against WestConnex held a snap action outside a WestConnex information session in Newtown on March 27.

Activists spoke to the 50 residents who turned up, advised them of the findings of the satellite imaging report and helped them grill the PR staff for WestConnex. Some households on the M4-M5 tunnel route were only were letterboxed with the notice of the session after it had finished, and many were not informed at all.

Residents continue to call for funding to instead be given to mass public transport solutions to Sydney's traffic problems.
