Snap Action at Nev’s breakfast: Clean Jobs not Gas

Perth & Fremantle

8:00am Friday 21 August

Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre

On Friday the 21st of August Nev Power, the Chairman of the National Covid-19 Co-ordination Commission will be speaking at an expensive business breakfast at the Perth convention centre.

RSVP for our SNAP ACTION calling for the Government to reject the COVID-19 Commission's recommendations for a massive expansion of the dangerous gas industry:

Nev Power has strong ties with the fossil fuel industry and yet is in charge of the commission tasked with overseeing our economic recovery.

Instead of funding the future we all deserve, the Federal Government and the Covid-19 Commission are secretly making plans to give billions of dollars in handouts to their mates in the gas industry that will turbocharge the climate crisis and threaten First Nations lands.

Join us for a snap action outside of his breakfast meeting calling for our Government to fund our future not dangerous gas!

We are calling for a safe future by opposing the dangerous boost of fossil fuels and voicing the need to kickstart renewable energy as a long term, sustainable and economically rewarded alternative.

This is happening in the lead up to the Build our Jobs: Climate Jobs and Justice National Day of Action on Friday September 25 demanding that public money is used for public good, growing our capacity to care for people, country and the climate, and creating thousands of new jobs in sustainable industries.
