Issue 

An estimated 200 million people died as a result of war during the 20th century, including:

  • World War I (1914-18): 15 million

  • World War II (1937-45): 55 million

  • Korean War (1950-53): 2.8 million

  • Vietnam War (1960-75): 3.5 million

  • Gulf War (1990-91): 100,000
