Why

Free films, free lunch. Come and meet the welcoming Waterloo community.

Alongside Saturday’s famous free Waterloo sausage sizzle, we will show 90 minutes of short films about battles for green spaces and the environment, gender and social justice short films. Highlights shared from the first Love, Art and Revolution Film Festival, which was held in Gadi/Sydney in April 2023.

Then a discussion about how art can change the world and the campaign to save Waterloo, led by Karyn Brown and others.

Come view short films about First Nations justice, climate campaigning, anti-fascism, feminism, LGBTIQ, and building bridges with revolutionary movements in the Global South.

Presented by North Productions, supported by Screen NSW. Organised by Action for Public Housing and Green Left.
