SYDNEY — About 300 people demonstrated in Chifley Square on May 8 to protest the Coalition government's attacks on Medicare.

The speakers included Wollongong Greens MP Michael Organ, Con Costa from the Doctor's Reform Society and Arthur Chesterfield-Evans from the Democrats, who called on the ALP to challenge the Coalition's plans in the Senate.

The rally was called by the "Medicare and Bulk Billing Action Group", which meets next on May 15. For more information phone 0401 374 443.
