Save Fiona Stanley Hospital - no privatisation

Friday, June 17, 2011 - 16:00

Save Fiona Stanley Action Group is holding an action to raise awareness and protest against the State Government privatising essential servies at our new public hospital Fiona Stanley

South Street, Bullcreek Shopping Centre (near the traffic lights).

MORE INFO: The construction of the hospital has already been contracted out to corporate giant SERCO, the company responsible for running Australian Detention Centres.

The objective of the action is to place pressure on marginal seat holders, we are seeking to get a maximum turnout to Joe Francis' office (Liberal member of Jandakot) To voice our opinion that essential services shouldn't be privatised but kept in public hands.

I'm sure I saw a sign that said that the building is being constructed by Brookfield Multiplex not Serco.
