The Refugee Action Collective presented a report about the abuse of women in Nauru detention centre to immigration minister Pete

The Refugee Action Collective Queensland protested outside the electoral office of immigration minister Peter Dutton in Strapthine on June 9.

The collective presented the minister's office with a copy of the Australian Women in Support of Women on Nauru report Protection Denied, Abuse Condoned: Women on Nauru at Risk, authored by five prominent Australian women.

They also presented a letter urging the minister to read the report and reconsider the offshore processing arrangements in light of the lack of safety for refugees.

The protest urged the community to speak out about Dutton's ministership, calling for him to be removed, and for the current government to change their draconian asylum seeker policies.
