Reading Circle: "A World To Build: New Paths toward Twenty-First Century Socialism"

First session:
Thursday 7th April 5:30pm
Activist Centre, Level 2, 95 Currie St, Adelaide

Dinner and drinks available by donation
All interested people are invited to join an open reading and discussion series on the book 'A world to build: New Paths Towards 21st Century Socialism', by Chilean author, activist and prominent Latin American political commentator Marta Harnecker.

This is the first in a series of 3 -4 fortnightly sessions, for this first one we will be focusing on Part 1 (the first 4 chapters).

The book is available to purchase from the Adelaide Activist Centre & Bookshop for $30.

To get the most out of this session, participants are encouraged to read Part 1 of the book before the day. However if this is not possible, please come along anyway, the discussion will still be useful. The format will be a facilitated open discussion, with guided questions to assist the flow of ideas.

Marta Harnecker will be a keynote speaker at the Socialism for the 21st Century conference in Sydney in May – find out more and register here -http://www.socialismforthe21stcentury.org/
