Get along to Tandanya Cafe 253 Grenfell St, Adelaide, on Sunday July 4th for ‘’Rap Intervention’’, a night of mad hip hop featuring local, interstate and Indigenous artists, all in support of a good cause!
The event will raise money for the Aboriginal Convergence happening in Alice Springs in early July, in response to the racist Northern Territory intervention.
It will feature:
Doc Fruit (NSW)
Eskatology
The Feather Soot Crew
Local Revolution
Also attending the event will be special guest speaker Richard Downs, respected Aboriginal activist and Alyawarr spokesperson for the inspiring Ampilatwatja community walk-off.
Tickets are just $10 on the door (or $7 for SoS participants), with all proceeds going to covering the costs of the Alice Springs Convergence, and to Green Left Weekly, an independent, alternative newspaper that plays a crucial role in supporting the ongoing Indigenous fight back against the racist intervention.
Cheap food and drinks will also be available.
