Join visiting Salvadorian and Filipino activists for a protest outside the headquarters of Oceanagold, an Australian gold mining company that stands accused of human right abuses in both El Salvador and the Philippines. In El Salvador: the government blocked development of Oceanagold mine that would have contaminated drinking water; Oceanagold then sued the Salvadorian government; two outspoken anti-mining activists have been murdered, after criticising Oceanagold. In the Philippines: an established Oceanagold mine has contamined a river system; two anti-mining activists have also been murdered; Demand that Oceanagold respect environmental and human rights.
