March 21, 1pm. State Library, Swanston St, Melbourne

Racism is on the rise all around the world. With Donald Trump in the US, Boris Johnson in the UK, and Scott Morrison in Australia - we need to build the resistance!

March 21st is International Day Against Racism - Join the Melbourne protest to day no to racism and the far right! We'll be marching to demand:

- An end to Indigenous dispossession and deaths in custody!
- Human rights for refugees and migrants - shut down the concentration camps and bring them here!
- No anti-chinese racism!
- No Islamophobia!

What is UN Anti-Racism Day?

The UN’s International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination was inaugurated in 1966 to commemorate the 1960 Sharpeville massacre which saw 69 anti-apartheid protestors killed and 178 wounded for taking to the streets against the regime’s racist pass laws.

In commemorating the massacre, we are part of an international effort to combat racism and racial discrimination.
