Greens MP Jamie Parker is hosting a rally to oppose the Liberal government's cuts to the Fire and Rescue NSW budget, which is impacting on the ability of fire stations to hire replacement staff for those off sick or on leave. These cuts have resulted in fire stations in Leichhardt, Balmain and Glebe being forced to close temporarily due to staff shortages.
The rally will be opposite the Balmain Fire Station, at the Balmain Town Hall.
