On average, one Australian woman a week is murdered by her partner, or former partner.
One in six Australian women have has experienced physical or sexual violence by a current or former partner.
One in four Australian women has experienced emotional abuse by a current or former partner.
Australian women are three times more likely than men to experience violence from an intimate partner.
Australian women are almost four times more likely than men to be hospitalised after being assaulted by their spouse or partner.
And these are just the crimes that are reported.
The Australian government is NOT doing enough to help protect women and children from domestic violence! How many more women and children need to be murdered before enough is enough?
We need to stand up and show the Australian government that we deserve more. That Hannah and her children -Aaliyah, Laianah, and Trey- deserved more.
We need change and we want it now!
