*Rainforest magazine needs help &amp&amp

The World Rainforest Report has launched the "100 Club", a campaign to raise funds for the magazine, published quarterly since 1983. World Rainforest Report is the only magazine in the world focusing entirely on in-depth coverage of all rainforest issues. Published in Lismore by the Rainforest Information Centre, it provides information and background knowledge for activists, scientists and the public. The publication is sent free to many developing country environmental groups for which it is often their only source of information.
The appeal is for 100 people to donate $100 each. This would pay editor and coordinator John Revington a very wage for 12 months. For six years, Revington has worked unpaid for the magazine, but due to a recent change in his circumstances, he has found himself unable to continue without some form of remuneration.
Without the public's help, WRR will be unable to continue its work. If you are unable to afford $100, group donations are suggested. Any donation possible is greatly appreciated. Cheques can be sent to: World Rainforest Report, "100 Club", Rainforest Information Centre, PO Box 368, Lismore NSW 2480. Donations can be included as a tax deduction, since RIC is a registered charity.
