Oodgeroo Noonuccal — One of Australia's greatest poets, Noonuccal published her first book, We Are Going, in 1964. Much of her work was inspired by her search for her Aboriginal identity. She was recorded reading her poems shortly before her death in 1994. ABC Radio National, Thursday, February 16, 9.30pm.

Our Fabulous Heritage: Anangu Don't Climb — Uluru Kata Juta will receive World Heritage Listing as a cultural landscape this year. 1995 also marks the 20th anniversary of the handing over of the giant monolith in Central Australia to Aboriginal ownership. This program explores the significance of the rock to traditional owners and the cultural and natural values of the national park. ABC Radio National, Sunday, February 19, 2.05pm.

Australian and Asian Music and Culture: Indian Music — Bop before breakfast! Learn about the development of Indian pop music, from film music to bhangra — a style popular in urban Britain that melds traditional Indian music and modern dance and rap music. ABC Radio National, Tuesday, February 21, 5.10am.

The Legs That Came in From the Cold — A radio play by Karoline Leach. An appalling lapse of security at the deceptively named "Leafy Meadow" reprocessing plant enables two incompetent crooks to smuggle out a lorry load of yellow boxes marked with "funny little black windmill" symbols. Government agents and green activists are soon pursuing a torturous trail that leads to the discovery of tables with radioactive legs in an unsuspecting vegetarian restaurant. A hilarious and unusual comedy based on a true and wholly incredible event. ABC Radio National, Wednesday, February 22, 9.30pm.
