After 23 years of iron rule, Tunisia's dictator was forced to resign and flee the country due to a mass uprising. Egyptian dictator Mubarak is the next in line to fall via a people power uprising. The revolution has shaken the Arab world, inspiring ordinary people and terrifying the rulers. The Tunisian people are continuing their struggle to sweep away the old regime, electing councils to run their affairs, organising strikes and protests to demand a new government with no ties to the old regime, and taking over workplaces and government buildings to drive out bosses and officials linked to the dictatorship. Come and here about this inspiring example of people's power. Organised by Socialist Alliance and Resistance
