rally in protest of the wide sweeping public service cuts that have been announced in the budget.

The public sector, the support network of our economy, is now at risk because the state Labor government plans to axe more than 3700 public service jobs.

The cuts go much further than the public service, they affect many areas that should not be cut.

Year 12 for adults over 21 will no longer be available at adult education campuses, people will be told to go to TAFE instead, however bridging courses are just not the same as year 12.

450 million will be taken out of health, putting an already distressed sector in more trouble.

Education and childrens services cut by $145.7 million.

At the same time Labor are planning these service cuts, with the media distracted with the budget, Labor and Liberal politicians sneaked in a 15% superannuation rise for themselves in parliament just the other day! The situation is outrageous!

The public should not be made to pay for Labor's mismanagement though cuts to our services.
