THROUGH AND THROUGH

THROUGH AND THROUGHa Christian?
No, but I know many very well
a Muslim?
No, but with them too I dwell
a Buddhist?
No, but their truths live and tell
a Jew?
No, but into them as well I meld
FOR ALL OF THOSE
you see, are integral parts of me:
I CANNOT AGREE
with Christians, Muslims
Buddhists and Jews entirely,
but where and when I can,
I do so happily.
THAT IS WHO I AM ...
and will always be;
perhaps you should not
ask me about my Humanist,
Capitalist and Socialist views ...
because I am (a good deal)
of all of them,
THROUGH AND THROUGH
