Photos: #SaveSaeed vigil at Villawood detention centre

Issue

Refugee activists organised a vigil in support of Saeed* who is at risk of deportation and is currently in the Villawood detention centre on March 26.

He fears for his life if he is sent back. Saeed sought asylum in 2012 together with his brother, who was granted protection. Saeed’s claim was refused and he did not realise at the time he could appeal.
