PHOTOS: March on Abbott's office charges 'blood on his hands' over Manus refugee nightmare

All around the country this week there have been angry snap protests against Abbott Liberal-National Coalition government's cruel policies towards asylum seekers. This follows the death of one asylum seeker and several injuries in violence in an Australian offshore immigration detention camp on Manus Island in Papua New Guinea. In Sydney on February 22, about 500 people marched on PM Tony Abbott's electorate office in Manly, with banners and chants accusing the PM and his immigration minister Scott Morrison of having "blood on their hands" over the recent violence against asylum-seekers detained in the Manus Island detention camp.

GetUp has called vigils around the country for asylum seekers suffering under Australian policy for this weekend. Details:
