Between 300-350 people attended a solidarity Black Lives Matter action in Katoomba on June 6, many from the local Aboriginal community.

After a smoking ceremony, struggle songs in the local language, and speakers on the open mic, people kneeled with their fists raised for photos to be sent to the Black Lives Matter movement in the United States and to solidarity rallies around Australia.
