WYPIN is a group of young people of refugee and migrant backgrounds between 12-25 years of age living in the Western region of Melbourne. WYPIN is interested in engaging other young people, identifying important issues for young people and addressing those issues through projects, programs and publications. Challenging racism in thecommunity has been a strong focus of WYPIN for many years. WYPIN has recently engaged young refugees and migrants to explore a sense of social connectedness through a series of photographic workshops. The project provides young people with opportunities to develop and build their skills and encourage engagement and participation through building strong local community connections. 4:30pm.
