PHOTO ESSAY: Refugee rights activists march on ALP national conference

About 1000 refugee rights activists marched on the national conference of the Australian Labor Party in Sydney's Darling Harbour. "Shame, Labor, shame!" they shouted, angry at the ALP conference adopting "offshore" processing of asylum seekers into party policy. They were joined by other activists protesting the ALP decision to support exports uranium to India, which has not signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
