Penrith protests the war

About 40 people gathered outside Federal MP Jackie Kelly's office in Penrith from 5pm the day war started. With signs that read "Disarm the USA, and Israel" and "No Blood for Oil", the peace vigil heard speakers from the Greens, the Socialist Alliance, the Democrats and the Communist Party. The vigil was called by the Western Sydney Peace Group, which will have another vigil at Memorial Park on the Great Western Hwy,St Marys on March 27 from 5pm. For further information ph.
