Life saving

Saturday, May 15, 2010 - 14:20 to 15:30

Recent policy changes by the Australian Federal government, including the processing suspension of applications from Afghan and Sri Lankan asylum seekers, the reopening of the Curtin detention centre and the opposition's proposed policies of turning back boats and reintroducing temporary protection visas all seriously undermine the human rights of people seeking protection from violence and persecution.
Join Amnesty and friends on 15 May 2010 in sending a clear message to the Federal government that these policy changes are not acceptable. We will be holding a public action at the Perth Cultural Centre, between the Alexander Library and PICA .
Make just 1 hour for a seriously fun, colourful, peaceful, coming together.
