Following the protest rallies in Sydney and Brisbane on March 5, and earlier actions in other cities, rallies calling for an end to all mandatory sentencing laws will be held in Melbourne and Canberra on Thursday, March 9.

The Melbourne march will leave from the GPO, corner of Bourke and Elizabeth Streets, at noon. All opponents of mandatory sentencing are urged to attend and bring pens/pencils/textas, banners, placards, flowers, friends, classmates, workmates and family.
