Tens of thousands of Palestinians marched across the West Bank on July 25, following large protests the day before that in with Israeli bullets.
The largest rallies in years in the occupied territory came as Israel's ongoing assault on the Gaza Strip killed at least 850 people, including hundreds of children.
Israel has fired on protesters, shooting at least nine dead, Electronic Intifada said that day.
Electronic Intifada said on July 25: "10,000 marched from the northern West Bank city of Jenin to Jalameh checkpoint north of the city, thousands marched from Tulkarem city to Netanya checkpoint, 3,000 marched in Bethlehem and thousands took part in a rally in Nablus ..."
Ma’an Agency said: "The attack has led to rising public anger against Israel as well as the Palestinian Authority, which many feel has not done enough to stop the killing."
Electronic Intifada said: "More than 20,000 Palestinians participated in the march on Qalandiya checkpoint last night [July 24] ... making it one of the largest protests in the West Bank in years.
"One other protester was declared clinically dead after being shot and more than one hundred were injured by live fire ..."

Israeli police barred Palestinian men under the age of 50 from entering the al-Aqsa mosque compound in Jerusalem’s Old City.
One of those killed by Israeli forces on July 25 was a human rights worker. In Beit Ommar, Electronic Intifada said, an Israeli sniper killed Hashem Abu Maria with live ammunition.
It said Abu Maria worked with Defence for Children International-Palestine (DCI-Palestine), leading its community mobilsation unit.
