Wednesday, August 11, 2010 - 18:00 to 20:30
From June 30 to July 20 this year, a group of around 35 people from Newcastle, Wollongong, Sydney, Port Macquarie and Canberra travelled over 7000km to hear from Traditional owners and to support the campaign against the racist Northern Territory ‘Intervention’.
…Participants spoke first hand with people living under the intervention and were briefed on campaigns for bilingual education and jobs with justice, and against the proposed Muckaty radioactive waste dump.
Please join us to hear from several solidarity riders (including both Socialist Alliance members and non members) and see photos from our journey.
Wed 11 August, 472 Hunter st Newcastle.
