European left organisations are planning a mass demonstration against the European Union summit, scheduled for June 20-22 in Greece.

The venue, 100 kilometres from Thessalonika, was chosen by the Greek government in an attempt to avoid demonstrations. However, 100,000 protesters from all over Europe are expected to converge, despite the inaccessibility of the meeting place. Protesters will gather first on June 14 at the Thessalonika University.
