@column = At the end of June, Green Left Weekly sent a letter to each of our subscribers. In the letter, we pointed out that the end of the financial year was approaching, and that we were behind schedule on our fundraising. We needed to draw on the help of our subscribers to get us through a difficult period.
@column = Subscribers' response to the appeal was a great one. Dozens of donations poured into the Green Left office over the first few weeks of July, helping to push our fund appeal back on track for this year.
@column = Green Left continues for another financial year. With the support of subscribers, we have silenced the rumblings from our creditors for a while at least.
@column = Unfortunately, the space we have bought with those funds in July will not last long. Green Left Weekly cannot sustain itself on its sales alone. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to help us, financially, through every year.
@column = Giving money to the paper directly is not the only way to show your support.
