Why

Reflecting on recent events around the world and the Black Lives Matter movement, this will be an in-depth discussion focusing on race relations, diversity and inclusion. With a global focus, speakers will look at the historical factors contributing to the systemic racism that many around the world are subjected to, and explore what can be done to affect real and lasting change as we move forward.

This is a conversation for BIPOC people and their allies. It is a space to learn, to connect with others, and to encourage greater, and deeper, conversation about racism within our communities.

This event will be facilitated by Sisonke Msimang, with speakers Ron Bradfield Jnr (Yarns R Us), Tanesha Benell (Boorloo Justice), Colin Archibald (Eleven Consulting), and Kylie Bracknell.

Delivered in collaboration with Eleven Consulting, and made possible with generous funding from Beaufort Rotary Club. This event will be held at Claisebrook Design Community.
