Support 3CR's radiothon and enjoy a classic labour history documentary. Harlan County is a 1976 documentary about striking coal miners in Harlan County, Kentucky USA, and their battle against Duke Power and corruption in their own union, the UMWA. Doors open 7pm; movie starts 7:45pm. The Owl and the Pussycat, 34 Swan St, Richmond (opposite Richmond Station). There will also be live music before and after the movie, by the Glitter Rats. $15/$10 (all proceeds go to 3CR Radiothon). Light food available. Drinks for sale at the bar.
