First meeting of FARA for 2012 to bring people up-to-date with latest activity (there has been a lot).
Lotteries House, 2 Delhi St, West Perth.
Please bring a small plate to share.
MORE INFO: On Tuesday 27 March FARA will be holding its first open meeting for 2012 to bring you up-to-date with the latest activity. And there has been a lot!
Most importantly we want you to know about the latest plans for an ammonium nitrate production facility to be developed alongside Burrup Fertilisers and the threat this poses to some of the most remarkable rock art in Deep Valley. FARA has been working very hard to ensure government understands the gravity of its decision to let this go ahead.
We will also present the revised Strategic Plan to all the Friends and encourage you to stay active in the fight for this unique cultural heritage site.
If you have been on a Burrup Tour, or are thinking about joining the Tour for 2012 (bookings happening now!) this will be a great chance to catch up with fellow travellers.
Where: Lotteries House, 2 Delhi Street, West Perth
When: Tuesday 27 March at 7pm
Please bring a small plate to share. We will provide tea, coffee, etc
Your RSVP to contact@fara.com.au would be appreciated so we know how many to expect.
Looking forward to catching up with most of you again – and for those not in WA we will be following up soon with a newsletter reporting on these developments.
