Two short documentaries about the woman-led Kurdish-led revolution in Rojava, and the refugee rights fight in Australia.The Rojavan, Kurdish-led, multi-ethnic, feminist revolution on the Syrian border is an example of succesful resistance against war, patriarchy and ethnic cleansing. 1 hour long. For My Friends in Detention, Green Left Weekly journalist Zebedee Parkes has produced a short documentary film 'For my Friends in Detention'. The film explores the impact refugee activism in Australia has on people on both sides of the fence. 12 minutes long. Zebedee Parkes will be present to comment on this moving film.
