Helen Pankhurst, great-granddaughter of Emmeline Pankhurst and granddaughter of Sylvia Pankhurst, leaders of the British suffragette movement, will screen and speak about the cause of feminism. Hosted by Mary Crooks, Executive Director of the Victorian Woman's Trust. Sarah Gavron's thrilling drama tracks the story of the foot soldiers of the early feminist movement; women who were forced underground to pursue a dangerous game of cat and mouse with an increasingly brutal state.
