88 is a landmark documentary that explores the remarkable events that led up to January 26th 1988, the march and its aftermath. the March for Justice, Freedom and Hope took place – the largest protest march since the Vietnam Moratorium with over 30,000 Aboriginal people serving as a reminder that white Australia has a black history. Warrior Zachary Joseph Wone, Kabi Kabi Nation of the Dundaburra clan, member of the Maritime Union of Australia will talk about the importance of this rally and the fight for land rights and justice for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Doors open at 5:30, Pay at door, $5 concession; $10 waged.
