Between 2000 and 2011, Nazi terrorists murdered and bombed immigrants in Germany without the authorities even noticing. The police were convinced it was just rival ethnic gangs quarrelling.

This film is based on that period, though not drawn from a particular event.

What happens when a determined woman loses her husband and child to Nazi murderers? What lengths might she go to for justice?

Diane Kruger is on screen for all but a few moments of this film. Its emotional intensity is a tribute to her searing honesty. She is a great actor and this is a very good film.
